MadHatter Managed Programs

Recently we have updated some of our merchants that only have a couple products so that a datafeed is available. The primary reason is so that we could get those products in to PopShops. (Link that) Since we have made this change, we have been getting a lot of ftp requests. Because each of our merchants that we mad this change, only has a couple of products (or so), we are unable to grant this request at this time.

Below is a step-by-step process on how to grab the feeds without ftp process. But wait, I know you are thinking, but ‘I want it to automatically update on my end’. These merchants that are included in this will not have any of the details changed without major notice, so once you upload it to your server, it will not need to be update.

1. First we need to sign into ShareASale.

2. The next step is to select the category “Datafeeds” under the “Get Links” column.

3. Select the merchant you are wanting the datafeed from(Nuddle Blanket, Lilash, etc.)

4. After finding your merchant, Click on the link titled “Download .csv” found on the lower right hand side of the page.

5. Select the appropriate “here” button to download the datafeed of your chose.

6. Once downloaded, save the file to your computer.

7. Once downloaded select the file.

8. After selecting the file, it will open up in excell.

9. The excell data is vitually unusable it seems, right? Selct the “A” column on the left hand corner of the Excel file with your mouse to highlight the first column

10. Once the “A” column has been highlighted look up at the toolbar and find the “Data” category.

11. The next step is to choose “Text to Columns”. Once selected a new window will pop up resembling the example below. Select “Delimited” and choose “Next”.

12. Choose “Other”. Place a bracket in the space provided. (Shift \)Make sure to there is nothing else selected. Press finish.

Now your set to make any creative that comes mind. Make sure that the !!USERID!! has changed to your own personal ShareASale User I.D.
